Take Your Hijab And Shove It!

People push my "last nerve" button everyday, but Cheryl Bormann has managed to not only push that button...she broke it today!  How dare she complain that another attorney was showing disrespect to her client's "religious beliefs" by not wearing a hijab in the courtroom!  What is worse to my mind is...How dare she show disrespect for her own country and those who lost their lives on 9/11 by wearing a hijab!

I am all for tolerance.  As a minister's daughter I believe it important to respect someone else's religious point of view.  However, I feel it is just as important to respect the law and for others to afford me the same courtesy of showing respect for my beliefs.  I also feel that once you show an absolute disregard for my beliefs and my life, you lose the right to expect me to respect you.  These terrorists and Cheryl Bormann can KISS MY GRITS!

I am most seriously insulted and disgusted by Ms. Bormann's antics in the courtroom during the arraignment on Saturday.  I'm even more insulted and annoyed that she would suggest the female prosecutor should follow her example by dressing in a way that coincides with her client's "religious beliefs".  I am sick and tired of liberals insisting I show tolerance and yet show me none.  I am sick and tired of being told how I should dress and/or act to accommodate others.  This is carrying political correctness too far and in my mind...it is another form of the "war on women".

I have had enough!  To those of you who believe I should think as you...KISS MY GRITS!  If you want me to listen to you, to respect you or even to show you any tolerance at all...you'd better start showing me, my country and all those who disagree with you the same!  And Ms. Bormann...take your hijab and shove it!
