Media Wages Race/Gender/Religion War

I do try very hard to keep my language under control.  It isn’t always possible because sometimes I come across news, videos, audios and various other things that make my head explode.  Idiocy is one of those things and Jonathon Karl is just the latest example of complete idiocy in the media.

In a recent interview with Mia Love, who is running for Utah’s newly redistricted 4^th congressional district, Mr. Karl went out of his way to try and “trip her up” so that she would appear in a less than flattering light.  He went out of his way to point out her gender, her race and her religion as if it is some kind of anomaly in the political world.  This idiotic need of the media to make conservative women look ridiculous has gone beyond being an annoyance to an all out irritation. 

I am sick and tired of the “war on women” meme coming from the left and liberal media.  There is no “war on women” by Republicans.  There is only a war on women that do not conform to the liberal ideology of today.  There is a war on any woman, like Mia Love, who will never be a #Julia.  Let me make this plain.  Conservative women come from a variety of backgrounds and (gasp) races!  Some of us work outside the home and some are stay at home moms.  One thing we all have in common though…We are for limited government and fiscal responsibility.  How that is a one gender or one race issue has completely gone beyond my scope of comprehension.

I will never be a #Julia!  As a matter of fact, there are a lot of women in America today that will never be a #Julia!  I suggest the media and the left get over the race and gender war and get down to the business of getting this country back on a sound fiscal footing.  I suggest we get down to the business of securing our borders and job creation.  Anything else is just a distraction by the left and the media to keep us focused on anything but what is truly important. 

There is NO ISSUE in America that belongs to just one gender, ethnic or religious groups.  The issues facing America today belong to all of us and I salute anyone of any gender, ethnicity or religion who is willing to stand up and fight for our country and the values that made her great!  It’s time we tell the media to shut up and get out of the way if they can’t see that!
