Last week I wrote about Lisa Mei Norton, a friend and fellow patriot making a difference with music. This week, I'd like to tell you about another amazing lady I met at the "We Stand With Gibson" rally in Nashville. Her name is Tania Ashe, and although she might not be well known, she is truly making a difference in her own way.
Tania drove over 13 hours to help Lisa at the Big Dawg Music Mafia stand at the rally. There she helped to pass out buttons and CD's, gather email addressess for potential new members to the website and spread the word of freedom. I had a moment to chat with her and walked away impressed with her dedication, her patriotism and her unrelenting belief that women will have a definite impact on the future of this country.
I asked her what inspired her as a woman to become more involved in politics. According to Tania we, as women, have more of that inner spirit already instilled in us that makes us more passionate in protecting our families, to stand up for what is right, and nobody is going to mess with us or our country. "For conservative women it's more about morals, ethics and doing the right thing," she said.
Tania is a firm believer that our children are being brain-washed by liberals in schools. It only takes five minutes for someone to undo what you've spent a lifetime instilling in your children, according to Tania. And as a family, we are constantly battling the media for the souls of our families. This is something that struck a chord with me, because it is something I've been "preaching" about for years. We, as women, have to be more involved with our children if we are going to stop the assault on them from the left.
Outside of helping Big Dawg Music Mafia, Tania is involved in United West and it's mission to fight radical Islam in America. This is an uphill battle considering that Obama welcomes radical Islamists into the White House and tours the world apologizing for America. And the fact that Christianity is under attack by the left is opening the doors to radical Islam more and more every day. Without women like Tania and her organization, United West, it is a battle we may lose.
Everyday, women all over America are donating their time and energy to keep this country great. Tania is just one of those women and I am priviledged to have met her. At times when I get down and feel like giving up, I'll be able to pull out my recorder and listen to our short chat. I know that after listening, I'll pick myself up and keep doing what I can.
Just like Esther saved her people by the influence she wielded with the king, Tania and others like her will use their influence to save our country and our people. Without women like Tania Ashe in the trenches everyday, this country will surely be lost to those who would destroy it. Take a moment and support Tania by visiting http://theunitedwest.org/.
